The Farmers

Vegetables

Dylan grew up in Doylestown and attended Central Bucks West. After graduating in 2001, Dylan worked in the restaurant industry, where he learned how to operate every facet of the business. And so his passion for providing food to others was born. In 2014, Dylan started working at Parx Casino, but in his spare time he was researching agriculture and experimenting with growing vegetables. After seeing the huge downside of mass-scale farming, Dylan developed a plan for small-scale vegetable farming with a mission to make a positive impact on the community he grew up in. Dylan and his wife, Tina, reside in New Britain and are excited to continue stewarding the land at Detweiler Homestead Farm in a natural, regenerative way.

Jeff has spent his entire life in the Bucks County area. From a young age, he has always felt a connection with nature and enjoys spending time outdoors in any capacity. In the winter, he travels frequently to chase snow and snowboard as much as possible. The rest of the year he enjoys hiking, beach trips, kayaking, and biking. Since graduating from Central Bucks South in 2006, he has spent most of that time working in the poker community, mainly at Parx Casino. In March of 2020, those casino doors closed and a new door was opened. Looking to turn his affinity for the outdoors into a new career, Jeff has decided to try his hand in organic farming.
